The Parking Pad presents music in underutilized parks, social spaces, and venues in Pittsburgh neighborhoods and strives to supports local musicians and present them in elevated ways outside of bars and clubs.
The Parking Pad was founded in 2021 by Stefan Flower & Amy Kline as a house concert series on a Dormont parking pad. They present and promote music and are building a network of bands and musicians to present in Dormont and underutilized Pittsburgh venues, including existing social clubs, theaters, and parks, as well as their own house venue. They have developed a series of concerts at the Dormont VFW and partner with numerous community groups on summer concerts and festivals. Amy has over 25 years in arts management, box office management, and marketing and uses those skills as the day-to-day operations manager, and Stefan is an engineer providing expert production management. With continuous support of the music community and work with festivals, agents and bands, they have become a trusted friend among Pittsburgh musicians.
